PRODUCT HISTORY

I, Kevin LeFebvre (Company Owner) developed and tested this product over the last couple of years by using it myself and by working with the band Sole Survivor who have used it regularly on stage for the last few years. I am an Engineer/Technician by trade and while helping lifetime friend Rich Thomas (developer of the Grabber Head), I came up with this unique mounting system. I truly believe this system is simple and effective, saves stage space, protects your instrument and is designed for the average Musician. I will use only the finest Materials and Coatings available and while this drives up the cost and cuts into profit margin it allows me to sleep at night knowing that your instrument is well taken care of.

WARRANTY

I have given this a lot of thought and although I don't know of any stands or wall mounts that have warranties I have enough confidence in my Product to offer a 1 year Warranty on all parts. If the Item is purchased directly, the Customers information will automatically be put on file. If the Item is purchased from a Retailer then the Customer must return the enclosed Warranty Registration card. The Product has been in regular use for years now with no problems and this why I confidently offer this warranty.

 PRODUCT SPECS.

The center part of the Product is the RGT Grabber Head with its mechanically closing fingers. The part has been in service since 1995 and has proven to be a very reliable unit. RGT has re-tooled their production line so prior supply problems are a thing of the past.

The Grabber Head is attached to a 3/8" Cold Roll Steel Hex Rod with an Aerospace Bolt purchased from a leading Industry supplier. This bolt has a sheer strength of 80K and is 3 times the cost of standard bolts. If this bolt fails then your instrument hits the ground and I hear from you, which is why I justify the added expense.

The Hex Rod is Powder Coated, which is incredibly strong and durable. So when you throw it around in your gear bag it won't get all scratched up. Again an added expense but your unit will look good forever. Are you getting the idea yet, I want to provide a quality product and have satisfied customers.

The Hex Rod slides into 1" thick Lucite Wall/Cabinet Mounts which attach with Stainless Steel Screws, once again these are at least 4 times the cost of standard screws. The Lucite Mounts will soon be replaced with a much stronger injection molded unit. Due to the long process required to make the tooling these will not be available until December-2001.

"It is my goal to provide my Customers with a quality unit that they can expect years of use out of."
